Children & Youth

There
is a structured, teaching class for infants through 2 year-olds and
another class for age 3 through Kindergarten during both our Sunday
School and Worship services. Activities include music, crafts, lessons
and snacks. These classes meet in the teacher's lounge and the
multi-purpose room.  There
is a Sunday School class for the elementary age children that meets in
the west hallway. We also offer Children's Church during the service.
Children can leave just before the sermon for a lesson geared to their
age level. In addition, there is a Children's Sermon during the
service which is geared to older preschoolers and elementary children. There
is a combined Sunday School class that meets in the school library. On
Sunday evenings, our youth meet in homes for Bible study, fellowship
and food. In addition, there is a Bible study offered on Wednesday
evenings. Cornerstone
Christian supports Lake Aurora Christian Camp, which is located 8 miles
east of Lake Wales, on Highway 60. Lake Aurora offers summer camp at a
main campus or a homestead camp, for kindergarten through high school.
We also participate in year-round activities, retreats and programs. Part
of growing in Christ is using your God-given talents to build the
church and edify the saints. Cornerstone Christian offers our youth
several ways to actively serve the Lord: Praise Team (singing or
playing an instrument), Serving Communion and Offering, Scripture
Reading, Child Care, etc. We offer the opportunity to take missions
trips and to assist others that need help.
